My ****zu was in heat about 2 months ago. We did not breed her. Over the past week I have noticed she seems to be losing weight but she is eating. Her abdomen seems to be sinking in her nipple area is actuallly hanging down as it was after she had a litter 2 years ago. She dosen't seen to have the energy she use to have.
Is this a false pregnancy or something worse?
Please help me!

It could be a false pregnancy!

False pregnancy is very wearing on the psyche. Some dogs will carry (or think they are) to term and will go through all the stages of pregnancy without actually having babies.

If your dog is having false pregnancies, I would suggest to have her spayed. Because her body is trying to be pregnant, she is very open to infection such as Pyometra, which is very deadly.

Spay your dog. She will be more relaxed and so will you.

You should contact your vet also if you are concerned about her weight loss.

In season about ? 2 months ago... losing weight and energy? This could be a pyometra working on becoming full blown. Many pyos will start shortly after a season. Best take her to the vet. If it is a pyo starting, you may be able to have her spayed without the danger of waiting till it's is full blown and she is a really run down surgical candidate.

Go see a vet for this!!
