Yes I have an aunt who spells it Masrory (but Persian tradition is that surnames often ends with I), I have no idea about its religious background, according to Google translate it translates to "happy" in Persian and "pleased" in Arabic, but I don't think that automatically means it's a Muslim name as it doesn't really have any religious meaning and I have heard of Baha'i people having the name as well
It could just be a Persian/Arabic surname without any religious meaning, but I am not sure, so this is why I ask
