Im wondering if I'm being haunted because I allways end up seeing stuff in my room, like my class mate she came over to spend the night with me and the day after when I woke up she was telling me that all night she had been feeling a hand on her back! and she said that she had seen some kind og shadow in one og the corners in my room,and I had been hearing footsteps in my room after she had fallen asleep! And that's not all!! Several times before I have heard noises in my room and I've seen shadows moving around!! And I'ts not only me that have experienced this my two best friends have experienced this too!! So now they are cinda afraid to spend the night with me. I need help!! I have already triend several solution for getting them away but they wondt work!! Help me!!

Since this is a very common problem... I believe you. May I ask what you have tried that has not worked? Is this problem anywhere else in the house, or just your bedroom?

There are other places in the house where there have been going on strange things, but the most strangest things have been going on in my room and I don't know why. The stuff I have tried is like saying *go away in the name of jesus*, stuff like that... but it wondt work and lately it has gotten stranger to and I don't know what to do!!

Well, if you're "trying out" or "testing the waters" using the name of Jesus, most of the time it will not work. First of all you have to KNOW it will work, second of all... that authority is given to born again believers. Is that something you are? There could be some RIGHT or LEGAL GROUND that gives these spirits that ability to be there too.

Well I know that I was born a kristian but the thing I don't get is that why the ghosts are haunting me because there is nobody who have died in this house, because before we moved in here there only lived this man and woman in their 20... so I don't get it why whould they be haunting me?

Well, first of all nobody is born a Christian. It is a conscious decision that someone makes. You may have been brought up to be aware of the Christian God... but it's not something you receive by birth. BUT, on the other hand if you know the point of your salvation and when that born again experience was, that is great.
The second thing is that ghosts are not human spirits... that is something THEY have taught us to believe. The bible is very clear that upon death your human spirit either goes to Heaven or Hell. There is no in between and there is no hanging around. These spirits do mimic people who have died... but it is all in the hope of deception. So, it's not really about "haunting" you... however, it IS about spirits doing whatever they can do hurt and deceive humanity.

I don't believe your doctrine for one minute, haunting. I sincerely believe there are benign helpful spirits. There are spirits to guide us through trying times and those are the ones who loved us while living. I am not entirely a religious person but I for sure know there are benevolent spirits around me at times and are ones who have passed who loved me entirely.

You have absolutely no business telling a young person that all she has to look forward to in the spirit world are spirits who want to hurt and maim.

You are perpetuating the notion in a young person's mind who has an over-active imagination and watches too many ghost stories and goes to sleep with them still in her mind.

Actually, I have every right to tell someone the truth concerning the spiritual world. Yes, there are helpful spirits around us also. Those are sent of God and are called angels. Angels are NOT human spirit either. You see, my doctrine is biblical... these are the things that the bible teaches. I'm sorry it's not the wishful sugarcoated reality you are hoping is out there. Does she definitely have a spirit in her home? I couldn't tell you, I'm not in her house. But, if there is, I want her to know what it is. Just because someone mentions the word demon, does not mean somebody's head is going to spin around.

Yes, you do have every right to say whatever you want to here. Sugarcoating, no, not for me I am way passed sugarcoating, haunting. I am not a kid anymore, far from it. I know what I want out of my spirit world, and if you don't invite the rif raf in, then they are not going to come.

Even voices, and laughter and moans.

When we get scared we perceive things differently than we do when we are not scared.
And strange unexplained things are scary.

But over 90% of the time explanitations are found in everyday things.
So it makes sense to start looking at these first.

But I believe in the paranormal.

Keep a written record of the time, date, and what happened.

Try to get recordings, pictures, video, or any thing you can think of to maybe help.

Weather, the angle of the sun , reflections from passing cars, bikes, toys or sounds houses make
Also plumbing can cause hundreds of different sounds . A lot of normal but not well understood
Things like these can seem something they are not..

The bible is clear on what angels and demons are and what they can do.
And because it does not talk about the spirits of humans staying on Earth
And not going directly to where they end up, does not mean it is not a possibility.

Have you talked to your parents about this?
That may be a good place to start.

I have a double concern here. First of all, your Bible may very well not be my Bible. Enough about that.

I don't know at what point someone who is 12 or 13 (I can't recall which) should not be on adult boards (which is my frequent concern). I don't think I'd want my child at that age getting info concerning ghosts and spirits - but maybe that's just me and I realize not everyone agrees with me.

This poster concerns me. Some posts have been removed. Others remain. My concern is "StrawberryCuty" has posted several times about hauntings, spirits and ghosts. The questions have run from guardian angels to haunted computers and back again. I think there is a real need for professional intervention here.

Indeed, the inquiries are enough for concern. But you raise a good point about the age of people using these forums. I almost don't want to know their age anymore, but really the parents should be aware of what they are trying to learn about online... not to mention who they are engaging in conversations with.

I didn't get much of this... so what you're saying is that I have some evil presence in my room and... its planning to kill me?

None of the sound I hear can be of and vecicles like cars or bikes cause I don't live near the main road at all... actually our house I allmost the only one here and I have also checked out what kind of normal noises could probably explain this but none of the normal noises that come from our vashing machine or whater pipes can explain the noises in my house.

It doesn't have to be your washing machine, or any other appliance Strawberry. It could a house settling, noisesdo occur and I hear several from my attic from time to time that I know are just a 'house noise' issue. Floors creak, and effect other things.

You have to let this go because as far as I am concerned, you just have to mature, find other interests to fill in your time in a more positive way and settle your mind and accept that these are issues are from normal occurrences.

As JudyKayT pointed out, you have even stated you think your computer is haunted. And I refer you to her post and the url to your post. Now come, sweetie, sorry, I am not buying any of it.

Yes, there COULD be something of a spiritual entity in your room... is it trying to kill you? No... that is not their goal... IF there really is one there. If you honestly feel there is something in your room... my advice to you is to learn to pray over your room and yourself. I don't know if your house is "haunted"... but these things do happen. You really need to talk to your parents about this also.

Have any of you considered there is more then this heaven or hell you speak of? More out there then simple so called demons and angels? I don't wish to step on anyone's toes but problems such as this have existed before the christian belief system came about. Now strawberry I do agree that if your going to use some authoritative command you have to know it will work. You have to will it to and be strong for any sort of command to work against whatever bothers you. Showing weakness, fear, etc will only make you vunerable to attack. The key is to believe with all your heart and soul in yourself, your belief, and your intention.
