Thanks for the heads up! Lucky I learned how to do that at Christmas when we got a new desktop and a new laptop.

How would you recommend the best way to secure your router is? Because I have one, and I just have a WEP encrypt but that is it.

WEP is a start, better than nothing. Look for the WPA option. Don't forget that once you make a change you have to make a change to each device that connects wirelessly to it.

To build off what NK said, just because your router does WPA does not mean the wireless equipment will. When choosing a secuirty method you have a few things to consider:

    A) What is the best?
    B) Will all equipment in my house support this type?

You must find the lowest common denominator and use what's given. Now-a-days everything is WPA capable but if you're using older equipment you may run into some issues.

Take a look at THIS to get a better idea...

I should change that to "now-a-days MOST things are WPA capable"... the DSi isn't that old is it NK?

Nope. But I couldn't go down to WEP for our Windows 7 laptop.
