I have a GE side by side refrigerator with water dispenser and ice maker problems. The ice maker does not make ice at all, the water dispenser has to have the switch held in for 15-20 seconds before water comes out.

One place to start is under the refrigerator. If it is stopped up with dirt it cannot cool properly. Look there and clean it out then get back to us. If you have to remove any panels to get at coils make sure to replace them as you found them. DrTom4444
