I just replaced a 4" trap going to the storm drain and getting water
Pipes are secure now. Trap is replace. I had to go down about 30" to under the concrete. working ok.
Now the problem or not. water is seeping through the ground and put about 12" in there. I take it out then next day it fills again. And again. I bought 2 fifty lb bags of a all purpose gravel from home depot and dumped in the bottom to support trap and pipes.
The water only comes so high and levels out. At the bottom of the pipe. I was hoping the water would find a new path to leak. Not yet. I want to fill the dirt and clay back in the ground and pour the concrete.
Any ideas.
Thanks
Jerry

I thank you.
On the lighter side I do not or never did get a back up.
The water was just leveling out. I was and am afraid to dump the clay the pour the concrete.
That's what I'm thinking though. Life is not easier being retired. Im working harder now
Iand I don't even get paid for it.
Thank you

It stopped there. Was there more info I should know about.
On the other hand what about all this soil or mostly clay I have downstairs.
Can I use that. Thanks
