I got my period on the 2nd of this month and was supposed to renew my pill (start it again) on the 5th but forgot to and instead started it on Saturday the 9th. I carried on having unprotected sex in between. I then skipped 3 days by mistake as I totally forgot to take my pill. Since I started taking my pill again (since 16th) I have been experiencing severe pains in my womb and brown discharge daily. Why is this?

It may be from the starting and stopping of the pill and your cycle is out of sync. You may find it helps to set an alarm, cell phone or watch for example, so that you can be reminded to take the pill on time each day.

Since you missed some days, and had unprotected sex, pregnancy will of course be a possibility. See what happens when your period is due for May. If it doesn't show, try a pregnancy test.
