Hi I am 13 weeks pregnant and 2 days ago I woke up and was bleeding bright red blood I was horrified and went to the er where they did a u/s and just said the baby's heartbeats good and seems OK but it could be a threatened miscarriage. So yesterday I went to my ob and they listened and said the heartbeats good and my cervix is closed I have a u/s on Tuesday but am scared the bleeding has almost stopped and I haven't had any cramping or anything does anyone know what this could be?

There can be a number of possible reasons for bleeding in early pregnancy. It may be as simple as a result of recent sex, or something they would want to check on, such as an infection.

It is promising that it has stopped, you have not had cramping, and baby's heartbeat is good. I know the waiting for Tuesday is difficult. Try your best to just pamper yourself the next several days, stay well hydrated, and take it easy.
