If I had sex on August 7 2010 when would my due date be. My doctor seems to think may 21 2011 but it just doesn't add up to me

So your doctor said that you are due within the month?

Have you been visiting the doctor periodically in the past 6-8 months?

If so, has he not adjusted your due date?

If you have been visiting the doctor for these past many months, and have given him (or her) the correct information about your past cycles, when you had sex, etc... then the doctor's estimated due date is good.

You can expect to have your baby in the next 3-5 weeks.

Why are you asking this question a month before your due date?

Have you asked your doctor if s/he is still confident in a due date of about 5/21/11?

Well if you had sex August the 7th add up 40 weeks later you will get the end of June

If you actually conceived on August 7, you would have been due on April 30. My calculations are based on the same gestational wheel your doctor uses.

However, we can't reliably go by the time you had sex to determine your due date, we would need to know when your last menstrual period (LMP) was to give you an accurate date.

If you happened to actually conceive in the few days after that date, you would likely be due in the first half of December.
