    Refill mode too loud.
I just installed a HYDROCLEAN EZ fill valve along with a flapper in my master bathroom toilet and was annoyed and confused because the constant "refill mode" was so loud it woke me up at night. I experimented to make it quieter but then it started having delayed weak flushes. After awhile I noticed that the hook was sometimes getting lodged against the side of the tank because the flapper was ripped where the hook attaches and the weak flush was because the bleach tab was lodged in the flapper opening.

And what is your question? That's why you don't want to put bleach tabs in a tank. I make a lot of money lifting the flapper and taking out the tab for "My toilet won't flush". If it still "phantom flushes" you have a leaking flapper or a corroded valve seat.
