I cannot, for the life of me, remember the name of this movie. I think it was a full-length movie, but it had 3 (or more) individual stories in it. The one I remember the most was there was this older couple living in a farm house all by themselves, and there was this life-size girl doll or robot in the basement. One day the robot girl "wakes up" and takes the old man by the hand and they walk off into the horizon together. The old lady starts to talk to the old man and when she sees them walking away, she just kind of watches in disbelief as they disappear. It is a dusty, dusk scene and the landscape was stark. From what I remember, it looked like an anime-style movie and there was little dialogue in this part. When I saw it, it was on TBS or USA network late one night in the mid-late 90s.
