Similar issues with the Kenmore ultra wash, model 665173 69300. We've tried several sequences and have gotten a response 2 times, but not sure what the sequence was. Cancel/Drain works, when cycles are pushed, light blinks for about 5-10 seconds and then turns off.

Just wondering if there is a set sequence of keys to push. This appears to be an issues with these dishwashers, very frustrating.

NORMAL WASH then HEATED DRY, repeated a couple of times will get you started up again, but the problem is a fault in the heater circuit. Replace the heater and you will probably not have the problem again, however I have seen some which will also need a new electronic control.
