I normally have regular periods, that last 4-5 days and are not heavy, but on 2nd April I got my period, as expected, and it was very heavy and lasted about 8-9 days. After that I had unprotected sex a few times, my ovulation date is 11th and my cycle is 26 days. On the 17th I got a light bleed that was only there for about 2 hours or so. The following day it was gone, but came back in the afternoon and went away in the evening, today, on the 19th.. it was gone in the morning and came back in the afternoon, went away for about 2 hours then came back. I have read about implantation bleeding, and it says it is a light pink discharge. Mine is more like a red one, so I am unsure of what it is and would like some information or ideas on what it could be. Thanks!

Do your normally ovulate on the early side? I would see what happens when you would expect your period for May and test if need be at that time.

The irregular bleeding can be from a number of possible causes, for example an off cycle or an off ovulation. Certainly pregnancy can be a possibility.
