Hi, so I had sex a day after my last period, and I have been wondering if I can get pregnant in the process, I haven't taken a pregnancy test because am writing my exams and I am scared of what the result of the test would be, I don't want anything to jeopardize the exam, which might include a positive in the test. I have been having discharges lately, whitish, clear, smell free discharges. Is this a sign of pregnancy or is my period coming? Am really scared, I hope its my period and not pregnancy. I will appreciate a quick response. Thank you.

Yes, if you happen to ovulate a bit earlier than the average, you could become pregnant from sex the day after your period.

Depending on where you are in your cycle, the discharge could be due to hormonal changes or possibly pregnancy. Wait until your period is due and see what happens. If it is late, try a pregnancy test at that time.

My period is not stable, most times it comes late in month, does that mean that the time I ovulate will be earlier than normal and I could possibly be pregnant?

Yes you may be pregnant, and of course all of this WORRY about being or not being pregnant is not going to help with the exam either.

I guess that's what am going to end up doing... like I have a choice anyway. Thanks a lot though
