    Pregnancy
Hi,my name is sara.I have a regular period cycle of 28 days. Never an irregular period until now.. I am now 26 and me and my husband have been trying to conceive for a couple of months now.. this month I did not get my periods on the 28th day(april 12th) so I waited for a week and checked using a hpt on the 17th April.. there was a very faint line in the result window.. how ever, on the sameday noon, I got my periods and it has been a little heavy and I have also been getting some clog kind of things.. am not sure what is happening and am wondering if I have had a MC? Please advice as to what I should do next

When you read the test results, did you read them in the time stated on the test or later on? It could be that you were pregnant and have experienced a very early miscarriage. It is fairly common, but most women never know it as they usually assume it is just an off period.

It could also be that if you read the test result a bit later, and a line appeared that looked like a faint positive. This can happen with some tests and it is why results read after the time stated on the test can not be considered accurate. It may be that your period was just off a bit this cycle... which can also happen.

Thanks for your reply.. I did read the result exactly in 2 minutes.. and I tried this with 2 hpt's and both had a faint line.. it has been nearly 17 to 18 years and until now I have never missed by period even by a day.. and this time I took the hpt only after seven days of my period date.. the period is not very heavy too.. but I am having a lot of red clot kind of stuff, with no pain, what so ever, except that I am tired all the time.. is there anything you can think of?

If you had a positive result on two tests, you are most likely pregnant. Bleeding can sometimes happen in early pregnancy without it necessarily being associated with a miscarriage.

You should see your doctor to confirm or rule out a pregnancy.
