Why is dog pooping in house now that we have another dog?
I have a five year old boxer who is pooping in the house now that we have another dog. He seems to be jealous, although he kind of likes having her there it seems. He did it a few times even when we were home, which is very unlike him. Any ideas how to break him of it? I hate to crate him and have her run free while we are gone.

Just because your dog isn't killing the other dog, doesn't mean that your dog is accepting the new dog.. I would say your dog is tolerating the new dog.

Just like a 3 year old kid accepting a new baby into the home, your dog is lashing out for attention and probably in protest to his new friend.

Just stick to your routine, don't make a huge deal over his mistakes and try and give him some extra lovings. Always greet him first and feed him first.. your dog always comes before the new dog. It will make transition easier for everyone involved.

I agree with Lucky. I also think that your dogs may poop inside because you failed to walk him within an hour after feeding. Does your boxer recognize you as the alpha in the pack/home? If not sure just tell us and we may help with that because its an important step in training.
