Using preposition in the end of sentence
    Hi,

I would like to know if these 2 sentences are correct:

    1. The acid will destroy anything it in contact with.

    2. The acid will destroy anything contact with it.

    Thanks

    What about these:

    1. The acid will destroy whatever it is in contact with.
    2. The acid will destroy whatever is in contact with it.

    Thanks.

    Hello Y:

Your sentence is finally correct, but it doesn't now, nor did it before, end in a preposition.
