I don't think I'm putting on enough weight
I read somewhere that there is a certain, healthy amount of weight a woman should gain in the first 3 months of pregnancy, I think it was something like 9 pound.. I was weighed at around 7 weeks and had gained about 2 pound and I'm now 15 weeks and have gained only another 1 pound. So 3 pound altogether. I'm quite petite and I'm worried that I will be too skinny to carry a baby full term.

I honestly thought I had gained about 1 stone altogether because my stomach is huge at only 15 weeks.

Try not to worry, as you will see some variations to the recommended amounts. As long as you are eating well, and gaining weight, there usually is no concern. Many women will actually lose some weight in the first trimester, due to morning sickness, and things are fine.

You will see more weight gain from here on. You may even be one of those women whose bumps just seem to all of a sudden pop in the later months... :)

I've actually got a bump, its big enough, it came out of nowhere lol that's why I can't understand how I only put on 3 pounds. Your probably right, I'll probably be sorry in a few more months for complaining  thanks Doula

Try not to expect your pregnancy to go EXACTLY PERFECT to what the books and guidelines and scales say. Some women lose weight. Some women don't gain or lose any, and some women gain a lot of weight. Your body will do what is nessisary. Just eat healthy and be active.
