    Where are you located? If in the USA, you have 240 volts.

    What type of wiring method will you be using?

    What size range in wattage or kW?

    Typically a standard residential range needs a 40 amp circuit using #8-3 plus ground NM cable (AKA Romex), for a wood frame home.
