What do you have to get to the thermal limiter on a frigidaire dyer

You have to totally disassemble it and get behind the drum, usually, but the limiter can be anywhere it is needed to help prevent a fire. Look at all air ducts and you will see several thermal switches which are oval and have two wires plugged into it. Just use an ohm meter to find the open one. They are wired in series, so when you find one just follow wires to the other ones until you find the open one. Make sure and clean it all out, even the blower and all places air flows. Scrape out the dirt and take out parts and WASH them out thoroughly. Water and soap is the only good way to clean it out except the motor. Make sure to dry well before plugging in. DrTom4444
