    Transferring files between cloud drives
I am fairly new to the world of "cloud" computing, but have recently begun to move personal and business files to off-site cloud drives, file sharing sites and 37signal's Backpack application. I would like to be able to transfer data between these servers without using my personal computer or smartphone as a required data conduit. My question is: Are there service providers or applications that would allow me to directly move a file from one "cloud" server to another without having to download the data to my console first and then upload?

The direct transfer of files between cloud services is usually not allowed and for good reasons. Allowing such transfers would be huge security issue allowing or possibly allowing a bad guy to strip files from one cloud service to another. A script could be set to backup to mutable sites but transfers between services should require moving the files through a computer operated by someone with access to both services.
