I have issues with my 7 y/o son. He has O.D.D which is Opositional defiant disorder. He gets off on getting in trouble. In one week he committed disorderly conduct,theft of a laptop,and assault on a teacher and student all at school. I Have no idea what my options are. I Too took parenting classes, he is on meds, sees a psychiatrist once a month,a therapist once a week. I coach his soccer and baseball team, take him on 1 on 1 outings,. and NOTHING! I get hit, yelled at told I "hate you" I am at my breaking point, and it seems nobody knows what to do. Its so FRUSTERATING!!

I can only imagine how frustrating this is for you!

What does the school tell you?

Have his meds ever been adjusted?

I almost NEVER consider something likethis, but if your son is this bad, have you considered an in patient treatment center for children?
