I have had sex a couple of times with my boyfriend. He is the only one that I have had sex with. Sometimes it hurts when we have sex, and the last two times, I have found a little bit of blood in my discharge after we have finished. I am on iron pills- I don't know if that would make a difference due to follicular cysts in both of my ovaries. These cysts have been gone for two months.

The pain and bleeding can be from a number of causes. Perhaps needing more lubrication to avoid irritation (which is not uncommon when first having sex), if the sex was a bit rough, position(s) you are using, if you have another cyst(s) present without knowing it, some thickening to the lining of your uterus, a polyp(s), etc. How much iron are you taking daily and for how long?

First step might be to take more time for foreplay so that you have adequate time to become better lubricated. If necessary, you may find trying a lubricating product will be beneficial. If you find it continues, it would be wise to see your doctor.

I am taking one Euro Fer every day. I have been taking them for about 2 months now.
