Hi. I am 9 days late on my period. I took a test on the 7th and 8th day but both were negative. I had swollen sore nipples last week but it has gone. I have been off the pill for about one and a half months now. I had my period last month on time but nothing now. Should I wait to take another test or should I rather get a blood test done?

I would either see about having a blood test done or wait until next month and see if your period comes then test at that time if necessary. Since you ended taking the pill fairly recently, it could be your body still adjusting and your cycles are just off.

It sounds like your body is still adjusting to the hormone flux from stopping the pill. It takes a few months for your natural hormones to stabilize and do their normal job once again.
