Can I get pregnant if I have just stopped noristerat?
Hi I am 29 years old, about 54cm tall and weigh 72kg. I have been on the 2 month family planning injection for 8 months, meaning I took the injection four times. I then stopped because I wanted to fall pregnant again. My menstrual cycle is not yet back, but I would like to know the possibility of falling pregnant before my periods are back. Lately I have also been experiencing back pain and something like period pains but I haven't spotted. It is normal for someone who has stopped taking the injection. Please help me

You really need to talk to your doctor. We are not a physic site, nor do we have a lot of doctors here.

Most hormonal birth controls work in the same fashion. They convince your body that you're pregnant and you don't need to ovulate. No eggs, no pregnancy.

When you go off birth control this external source of hormones are gone and your body needs to equilibrate and return to it's natural balance. This could take a number of months or a the next month. It is hard to say and is dependent on many variables.

I believe that your body is going through this process and what you are seeing and feeling are the symptoms of this. If you are really concerned about this please talk to your doctor. They can tell if your symptoms are abnormal and help you return to your natural balance.

    Good Luck!

She's asking if there's a POSSIBILITY that she's pregnant. She's not asking you to diagnose her. Read the question again.

Yes, if she's playing with birth control, not taking it as directed, she COULD be pregnant. If she's worried she should be tested.

No means of birth control is 100% effective SO there is always a possibility of pregnancy when a person has sex.
