How can I get my mom to let me go out with my boyfriend in middle school? I am in 8th grade and going to 9th in 2 months or so. She does not care if he calls but she might be hesitant about letting me go out somewhere with him.

If I were you, I would respect my mother's wishes and not go out alone with my boyfriend. If he's around your age, you two are too young to go many places. Can he drive a car yet? If he's too much older, then I can definitely see why your mom would be hesitant to let you go out alone with him.

A great way to spend time with friends and possibly set your mother at ease is to go out in larger groups to places like the movies, bowling, amusement parks, etc.

How well does your mother know your boyfriend? Maybe inviting him over for dinner so she can get to know him better would be helpful.

The bottom line is: your mom knows what's best for you, and listening to her will keep you safe and make sure you stay young while you're young.

It sounds like you mom is a very protective parent.
It really depends on what she thinks of your boyfriend. If he's too old, then she won't trust him with her "baby". If he doesn't look 'proper' (such as many piercings) she won't trust him. If he is impolite to her, she won't like him. So be careful and give your mom evidence to prove that he can be trusted to go out with your boyfriend. You might want to mention something good about him academically- you can exaggerate a little. You can also persuade her by going to places you might go with friends that she allowed you to go to- such as the cinema or an amusement park, where there are tons of people, so he won't "try" anything.
You're only in middle school- don't get too serious and definitely don't lie about your boyfriend.

9 times out of 10, if you have to ask yourself if you're age is old enough to be dating, then you probably shouldn't. Be mindful of your mothers wishes, sneaking around makes things worse.

I would find a friend with a boyfriend too and go on a double date! That way your mom would be more willing to let you go if she knew there were more people going. :)
