Me and my boyfriend broke up.. we were still good friends. My best friend told me she was going to go home after school with my ex and talk to him about getting back with me. I didn't want her to and I told her she got mad at me and said well were friends and we can hang out that night they did.. she wouldn't tell me anything cause she didn't want me getting mad. I told her I don't think we should be friends any more and the guy she's talking to(my ex's best friend) got mad at me and told my ex a bunch of lies. My ex said he wants nothing to do with me and goodbye. I asked my best friend if she was still going to hang out with him and if I didn't talk to him would she? And she said yes. Yesterday she skipped 7th hour and went and played mini-golf and he went to her house after that I'm really hurt and I don't know what to do! Any help? PLEASE!

Can you clear this up for me. Why did some guy tell your ex a bunch or lies and what was he mad at you about?

Cause he was hookin up with my best friend.. and he was mad cause I "blew it outa proportion" when if I didn't he would have so I thought me doing it would help things out but obviously not..

Please answer "adviceishere".

You left out some major details regarding the "Lies".

If I were in your position:
IF you did nothing wrong, and these people are telling lies, talking behind your back. . etc, I would ditch the friend, stop caring about the ex and move on.

Not sure what is going on here, but I think there are some other issues not mentioned.
