    Who should I speak with to adopt my stepdaughter
    My daugther's biological father wants to sign his parental right over to me what do I have to do to make sure that happens

    Consult a Family Law attorney. You need an attorney to prepare the adoption petition. This is something where you need to make sure everything is done absolutely legally. The attorney will include a relinquishment of rights for the bio father to sign. As long as the bio father is willing, it should be pretty straightforward.

    It depends on your location. But I would think $1500 would be reasonable. Shop around.
