Connecting the Hunter thermostat is popping the fuse
When I connect the 24V power wire to Rc terminal on my Hunter Thermostat Model 44660, it is popping the fuse on the control board. However, if the 24V wire is connected to RH, there is no problem and the heat works fine. Can someone, please tell me what could be wrong. I have verified the wiring is correct and is connected to the thermostat as follows:

    RC1-24V Power
    Jumper between Rc and RH
    Yo-Cool Relay
    WB-Heat Relay
    G-Fan

Check the wiring at the furnace, verify the wires are landed correctly: red to r, white to w, yellow to y, green to g and the outdoor unit lands on y and c. If they are landed as so then land the wire on rh with the jumper and try all stages: heat, fan, and cooling. If it pops the fuse on cooling then the stat is bad.
