    Question on quitting birth control
I stopped taking my birth control after my period in December. I had a very light period in January and then none at all in March or February. (No, I'm not pregnant!) I went to my gynecologist in early April and he told me that this was a very common thing to have happen to women when quitting birth control. He prescribed progesterone for 10 days. I finished with them 3 days ago and I have read that it takes 7 - 10 days for your period to start. Anyway, I was just wondering if my period should eventually return to normal and if I will start to ovulate once again. I never had a problem with my period before I started taking birth control; in fact, they were very normal. Oh and my gynecologist also did an exam and told me that everything was perfectly normal!

Everything will go back to the way it was prior to you starting birth control. It just takes a little while.
