A person attacked you? I trust there is a Police Report and you intend to sue for assault and battery and some sort of claim you were forced to remain in the store.

There is no way to know how many times Dollar General has been sued short of suing them and asking for the figures as part of the discovery procedure.

Yes there is a police report and I have consulted a lawyer

I'd test my new lawyer by asking him this question.

In general, unless this was to be part of some class action law suit, the issue will be how many times has that employee or that store tried to do a false arrest for shop lifting.

Now of course what lead up to this,

They thought you were shop lifting and asked you to stop and come back inside or go into the office ?

And of course you agreed and walked back in,?

So while waiting for the police to arrive how did he attack you ?
