I had this dream that I was in my junior year of high school, and Ive been dating this boy for three years. And he was a senior. And so he was graduating at the end of the year and he was going to a college 4 hours away. So on my 16th birthday we went out to dinner. Because my sweet 16 was the day after because my mom wanted me to spend time with loved ones on my birthday. So when the end of dinner is near and he proposes to me, and I say yes. The next day I tell my AVID mom and my AVID dad and their really happy for me once I explain to them that we won't get married until we start are careers, But I never tell my real mom. So later on in the day me and my boyfriend go for a walk on the pier and he tells me how he loves me the way I am, and he tells me that he's the luckiest guy ever to have a girl like me. While were walking he starts to talk to me about how much he loves me and he tells me how when he meet me he thought it was very strange for me to have image issues because I am a very beautiful girl and he loves everything about me. He eventually tells me that I should never try to be what anyone wants me to be because he loves me as me. We spend two more hours together, than he drives me home. And at the end of the dream I'm lying in my bed looking at my engagement ring.

Maybe the dream means that you feel that you are ready for a long term commitment, but you are looking for someone who can validate yourself worth. Do you feel beautiful? How is your sef esteem?

You're going to have a long term relationship very young in your life, I don't really know what's the definition of the number 16 is in dreams but someone who knows better would define it... I don't know how your real mom is alike but once you get to that type of relationship you should not tell her, this person is going to fall head over toes for you but don't be afraid because he might be the right one just take it easy and your heart would tell you if he is or not...
