My wife filed for divorce two years ago and now refuses to finish the final forms
My wife filed for divorce two years ago. I am currently just waiting for her to finish filing the FL-141 form but she will not because she knows she will loose her medical coverage through my employer once the divorce is finalized. My attorney tells me that there is nothing they can do until she submits for FL-141 and her expense declaration to the court. I have gone through a lot in the past two years and just want this divorce to be over with. Is there anyway around the fact that she will not finish filing the FL-141 to the court or is there anything I can do legally by filing any additional forms myself so I can finally end this bad marriage. I feel as if my attorney is not doing everything possible to help me past this technicality.

Your Attorney will have to go to Court to obtain an Order to compel her to complete the form. If she does not she will be in contempt of Court.

Do not sidestep your Attorney - it would be a mistake.
