I'll first start with my story I'm a 23 year old mother to a 6 year old and a 1 year old so having another baby isent something we planned.
I have an IUD in place and for a couple of weeks it has seemed like the string is getting longer so I don't know if its coming out or not.
I had my normal period on Dec 25, 2006 my husband and I did have sex quite a bit after I finished and then on the 19 and 20 of January I had brown pinkish discharge when I would wipe after going to the bathroom. This only lasted for two days and wasent enough to wear a liner. Then yesterday and today I have notced a little blood still has a tent of brown to it when I wiped but it was much less then what I had the other day this was just a little not like a glob.
I have had some cramps on and off all day today so I'm not sure if its my period or if it was implantation bleeding.
I should be starting my period any day now so I am soooooooo confused but the bleeding only happened once today and that's all. My period is ALWAYS very heavy when it first starts.
For the past couple of weeks I have had headaches and mild cramping on and off.
Has anyone had any experience with this and know what's going on.
I should know considering I have 2 kids but this never happened with them.

I would get a doctors appointment. That way you can get an exam and make sure that the iud is still in the right place and not causing problem, and he can also check for signs of pregnancy. You could also get a blood test done to check for pregnancy. Good luck, let us know
