Hi, I was just wondering if some one could help me out here! I just wanted to know is it OK to be around a child that has chickenpox and I'm 25 weeks pregnant.. is it OK ?because I had this virus as a child and was told that I would not contract this virus again because I had it many years ago. So now I'm amune to it? If so.. is it true? As well even if I don't get the chickenpoxs could my child contract the virus even in the womb? Thank you :) Aislinn

I'm not sure of the exact danger of being around chickenpox when your pregnant but I just know that it is dangerous! The other guys on her will give their expert advice though but in the meantime I suggest you keep away from the child
