    Do I have a lawsuit?
After being hired at a large hospital and signing a letter of intent to hire with a financial program being agreed to the hospital recinded their offer, thus I have passed all exams, back round check, drug test, etc that has been asked of me. The reason they have given me was because of internal people needing to be promoted first as I have now no current employment as I resigned my old hospital

A letter of intent isn't the actual hiring. That actually officially takes place upon your first date of work when you sign those papers and you actually begin work.

A lot can happen between those two times.

You posted this in a Union forum. That appears to have been in error.

Also.. turn the caps lock key off, its called shouting to type in all caps... and its hard to read.

    Hello Hockey:

A letter of intent isn't the same as being put on the payroll, true. But, you can't be put on the payroll without having quit your last position, and you wouldn't DO that UNLESS you had a letter of INTENT.

I think you have damages... Don't talk to the hospital any more. Hire a lawyer first thing in the morning.
