I work and live at the job site for 6 months In AZ. But my home is in TN. And for the other 6 months live back at home in TN. All I need to know is do I have AZ state taxes held out of my check?

What did you not understand. I could understand that answer perfectly. This was the answer to your question: Since you worked in AZ you must pay AZ income tax on the wages you earned there. File in AZ as a non-resident.
