I turn the water on and the shower goes too, when I push the shower knob in to stop it, doesn't stop running completely, when I pull it out to run the shower, the water keeps running through the taps and shower pressure is minimal. I read a few posts here and figured I need to fix the shower diverter, but I don't know how. It's a Waltec, please help.

The diverter's a flap that pushes in to cut the flow off to the shower head. You have some crud that got in the diverter seat.l Shut the water off and open up the diverter stem assembly. Clean out the seat and reassemble. Good luck, Tom
