After my son was adopted 2006, I was paying backpay childsupport. When I finished paying plus interest. They claimed they had no proff of adoption. Or that I signed over my rights. And continued charging me for current childsupport from 2006-2011. Do you think I have a case? If so, how do I get an affordable lawyer, that will actually fight for me?

All you do is provide them proof of the adoption, I will assume you keep a copy of the paperwork you signed, and you merely get copies of the adoption paper work from the court ( they should have mailed you copies anyway)

So first prove there was an adoption, then provide the proof,

I faxed copies of adoption & proof of termination of rights. They say my case is being closed but they are still taking money from my checks?
