My period is 9 days late. On the 8th day I experienced a small amount of blood in my underwear. It's the second day and its still on. My regular periods are extremely regular and very painful. I've had a few cramps but nothing like what I'm used to. Could this be implantation bleeding?

You said "its the second day and its still on" do you mean your still bleeding? If so then no this is not implantation bleeding. Implantation bleeding is so small that sometimes it can go un-noticed, its usually the size of a pin head. Have you taken a pregnancy test?

This question would be far better suited to a doctor. It is not something anyone here could answer for you with any accuracy.
