Hi I'm 17, and I'm on the pill. I usually end the pill on Sunday and start Tuesday. I;ve had the per usual before symptoms, acne, little brown discharge and cramping. But my period hasn't started yet, and it should have started yesterday, but I still have dark brown discharge, is there something I should worry about. Im sexually active, but we us a condom and I'm on birth control I'm really scared, please help !

Firstly I would like to commend you for having safe sex, the pill and condoms are a great way to practice safe sex, its abreath of fresh air to hear a young girl like yourself with a good head on your shoulders :)

Your only a day late and it does sounds like your period is about to start, I don't think you have too much to worry about, but sex can cause pregnancy, even with precautions. You may even just be having an off month, happens to all women, even if you're very regular. So if you only see brown discharge and no proper flow this month then don't panic, wait until next month and see how your flow is then and you can always do a test in about a week or two just to be on the safe side. But I really don't think you needt to be too worried...
