Please clarify - what does "X" represent? Suppose you have an urn with 10 balls, and you pull three of them, with replacement. The question is asking what is P(X=1), P(X=2) and P(X=3), but I don't know what X is. Perhaps X= the number of times that a ball with a particular value is chosen?
