    Hi

    I wonder if you can help explain why our pipes hum whenever toilets are flushed or showers drawn. It seems to have something to do with the water softener. Water is building up. We cleared it once but noise resumed within 24 hours.

    May have something to do with water softener or may be a loose washer in a stop valve some where.
