Assalamoalikum, I'm a buddhist girl who came to Islam. But I'm still a child and living with my parents. As custom Sinhalese worship their parents in any occasion such as new year festival, vesk festival etc... in Sri Lanka. So as a Muslim I must not worship for others without Allah and it's a shirk. But once I worshiped my parents and I couldn'nt avoid doing that. So what should I do to correct it?

For your case you should prtend that you are one of them, but in your deep hart you belieive in Allah is the God. Once you have the chance you can speak to them or leave them if you are afraid that they might kill you or do something bad for you. May Allah Bless you and protect you
