    Discontinued oven thermostat part # 9730 39
Any idea how can I find a discontinued thermostat for a double wall oven. The part # printed on the thermostat is 9730 39. Thank you.

How about telling us the brand. Any good appliance parts warehouse should be able to cross reference.

Depending on the type of t-stat and what the problem is you sometimes can fix oven t-stats by adjusting one or two small screws that determine cut in and cut out temperatures. However, it should be easy to get a universal replacement from an appliance parts warehouse if you have the model number and take in the t-stat. Several companies make replacement kits that work on almost all ovens because there are only a few makers of t-stats that make them for the many builders of appliances. You simply have to put the t-stat together to match your model, but it's easy to do. DrTom4444
