The difference between the job disciption and job specification

I would think that a "Job Description" would tell the general aspects that the EMPLOYEE will encounter -- duties, wages, hours etc. A "Job Specification" would tell the qualities the EMPLOYER requires for the job -- Education, experience, license, etc.
