    1042-s and w2 together?
I am a reporter. US resident. This year I received a w2 from a US company and a 1042-s (income code 11) from another company for my work overseas. Can I file both my w2 and 1042-s? Is there any contradiction in it?

No, not at all. The income on the Form 1042-S is STILL taxable income which should be reported on Line #7 of Form 1040 as wages.
