When I am opening My Computer then the drive names are not been displayed.
Not only Drive names , all the remaining folders like Shared folder etc are also not been displayed.
This happens in My Computer page only, when I'm opening other folders everything is been displayed.
Can anybody help me in this regard?
This just occurred after installing Google Desktop S/W.

I have 2 suggestions...

1)The most quick solution with the most chance of success, will obviously be Microsoft system Restore, just restore it to a earlier point in time when the icons were still there.
2)Download TweakUI for windows. After running tweakUI, on the My Computer tab, click to select the check boxes of the drives that are currently hidden and restart.
