I have a very jealous husband, the thought of me saying one word to a guy or be in the same room drives him crazy. He clearly doesn't trust me and I never cheated on him so I never gave him a reason. I try to talk to him to figure out the root of his jealousy but all he does is come up with hurtful accusations or assumptions that hurt me. So what am trying to figure out is WHY? Could it be that he can't be trusted around girls and maybe that's why he feels that way, because before me he was never really in any serious relationships or anything to where he lost trust in women over all. I love my hubbs very much, and counseling he refuses, is there anything I can do?

Your hubby loves you very much.. only slight insecure.. give him all your love and attention, pamper him then maybe his insecurities will disappear

ajwain, that is not very good advice. Men who violently jealous are control freaks. He has self image issues and control issues. To the OP... see if talking to him about this helps and try to find out why he acts this way. Maybe counseling? Conversation is the first step to answering his issues.
