    Hello Belmont:

The statutue of limitations begins when a crime is discovered and ends when someone is charged.

If you got drunk, drove, and got charged, the statute of limitations in your case ran about 10 minutes.

PS> (edited) It occurred to me that you asked your question because you never went to court, and you want to know when the warrant is going to disappear. Well dude, it's like I said. It ain't never going to disappear.

I am not familiar as to whether not crimes have an SOL in the USA.

    However,

excon, some crimes here in Canada do have an SOL.

For summary offences, the SOL is 6 months.

There is no SOL for indictable offences (like sexual assault, murder, etc.)
